Woo! one of my best renders so far i'd say. I'm amazed at how the cloudy parts came out. Volume light + finalrender Particle light system + noise light = wow.
The spiral models are from max 6's architectual design thing, i modified it a bit though :D
I came up with a new object distribution method for this also, adding a nice random placement angle to the objects.
I'm also proud of my improving typo efforts...i guess.

Colors added in PS CS, rendered with brazil 1.

ah! 3D studio max 6. Yes, the one piece of software I just can't afford. *sigh* One of these days. You did drop a good piece of work on us. I'm definitly impressed. Sooner or later I will figure out how to do something like that. Hope your still around to critique it for me.

The rendering is really nice, and so are the colors that you added in with photoshop. (I wish I could do that...) The 2d that you have is nice, especially the stuff that is nearly invisible. Overall its really great, great job.

well I know they're low on polygons, but that's a limitation of the 'spial stairs' objects of max 6, aside from the odd look, what's not to like about em?

THAT's COOL! Pretty sweet dude! I like the springy-sproingy things and the tones that accent them to make them look all 3D; reminds me of what some peeps say they can do with... Bryce?? Neat!!
